In this project, John shows how he created a clever corner cabinet in a small niche. He ordered the shelves made of carpentry panels online. Books can be conveniently stored in the cupboard and there is room for a projector. A practical result!

Description by John

I sawed the used planks in half. Then I painted them transparent white and made them into a whole using round sticks and dowels. I placed a projector at the top.

How I made this project

Using a drill press, round holes of 25 mm, through which the sticks could pass, (3 pieces) sticks to a mold ( lath of 2 x 4.5 x 200) screwed. This way the boreholes were straight and in place. And again the drill press; now 8mm. A single chair corner at the top provides the connection to the wall. Projector is adjustable mounted with steel strips. This way it projects above our heads, even when we walk through the room. NB There is a photo of another niche where I will do the same because it is a success. Working drawings only existed in draft form and are no longer available

Dimensions of my DIY project

59.0 x 40.0 x 4444.0 x 270.0 cm profile: triangle with one right angle.
