Inspiration for your living room with a shelving unit in warm beige

Looking for a way to furnish your living room both practically and stylishly? Get inspired by Monique's DIY project: a custom-made warm beige shelving unit. Perfectly suited to the contemporary living room, where functionality goes hand in hand with design.

The unique features of the display cabinet

The shelving unit that Monique has created is a model of modern elegance. The piece of furniture is characterised by the open compartments of different sizes that create a playful effect. The closed cabinet parts at the bottom also offer practical storage space. The warm beige colour provides a calm yet warm appearance, which seamlessly matches the wooden floor and the subtle wallpaper in the living room.

The DIY Process: Tailored by TOSIZE.it

The wood for this cabinet was cut to size by TOSIZE.it, which laid the foundation for a sleek end result. The project was then carefully and precisely assembled by Monique herself, giving it a personal touch.

Why making it yourself is so beneficial

Getting started on a DIY project like this shelving unit has its advantages. You determine the exact dimensions yourself, so that the unit fits perfectly in the available space. In addition, you have the freedom to choose the material and color that suits your taste and interior.

A harmonious whole in the living room

This shelving unit in warm beige is an enrichment for the living room. Both the colour and the design contribute to a harmonious atmosphere. Functional to display your most beautiful things and at the same time it offers sufficient storage space for the less beautiful necessities.

The Style of the Project: Modern Rustic

Monique's shelving unit embodies a modern rustic style. The simplicity of the design, combined with natural elements and a soft color, creates a calm and inviting atmosphere in the living room.

Tips from Monique

Sort all the planks by component: beams, uprights, back wall, doors and planks on different piles with the highest number at the bottom and the lowest number at the top. Seal each compartment with acrylic sealant, heat the nozzle and press it flat with pliers. This way you can make very thin lines with the best result.

Furniture from Monique is finished in the color

Little Greene Intelligent Satinwood, in kleur Hammock (38). Achter de kastdeurtjes hebben we kleur Chemise (139) gebruikt.
