Very easy

2 minutes

In this DIY project, Mike shows how he fitted his kitchen cabinets with new back walls. By ordering the sawing work online, he was able to start his project immediately. This saves a lot of time and mess. And you can be sure that the sawing was done correctly!

Description by Mike

The back of the kitchen cabinets was missing a plate. The top one was not there because a refrigerator had been placed here. The bottom one was rotten so we took it out. Now ordered new custom backs online. This is our 3mm lacquer board. All sizes were correct and it was well packaged. I recommend it to everyone if you need a custom wood piece.

How I made this project

I'm not extremely technical when it comes to wood, so I made the wood but have it delivered to measure. It involved placing 4 pieces of wood on both sides of the cabinets (2 cabinets in total) and placing the lacquer board against them. Fastened with 4 screws and the largest cracks were sealed. Because it will be a pan cupboard, I find that a little less exciting. Overall very satisfied and I recommend it to anyone who has a wood project to order here.

Dimensions of my DIY project
