Description

In the hallway was a large pile of shoes, hiking boots and boots. To make it look neater, we were looking for a shoe cabinet. Ready-made cabinets were not what we were looking for in terms of size and/or appearance, so we decided to design something ourselves.

Work description: how did you realize your project

The cabinet is assembled without screws with lamellos and wood glue. A handle is milled into the drawer front. The bottom is milled in front of the drawer. The drawer is mounted with soft close runners. Then the edges are neatly rounded, treated with edge sealer and everything is painted matte black. The MDF from which the cabinet is made is black through and through. This ensures that a scratch does not immediately become light (and therefore ugly). It's so easy with shoes that sometimes have some sand underneath.

Final size: What are the outer dimensions?

The cabinet is 98.8 cm wide, 62.4 cm high and 27.4 cm deep. This means it fits exactly under the existing coat rack.
