Very easy

1 minute

In this project, Wim shows how he widened his windowsill and immediately neatly concealed the heating. It is a relatively easy project to do yourself. Wim opted for custom-made pine carpentry panels. He finished this himself.

Description by Wim

A casing for the underfloor heating, the top shelf has a double-sided bevel, so that it is adapted to the existing windowsill. A shelving unit, the shelves are rounded and have a length of 95.0 cm

How I made this project

Deep, deep, deep thinking about a simple and neat solution. The biggest problem is of course getting a simple, sleek appearance. I ordered a neatly finished plank via the webshop. The work description was very easy this time and consisted of taking measurements, making a sketch on a piece of cardboard and then ordering the planks. The shelves in the shelf cupboard are on a slat in 4 slats and have been sprayed with clear varnish and the window sill widener will probably still be sprayed white.

Dimensions of my DIY project
