Description

We had a beautiful new staircase installed in our recently purchased house. We have a lot of space under the stairs that we wanted to make optimal use of. We installed a door for this purpose and to use the small space at the bottom of the stairs we made a drawer. We had already made this drawer in a previous project. For the finishing touch, we had plywood birch fronts made to measure

Create storage space with a stair cupboard

When the drawer is fully extended, it drops down slightly. This decrease mainly occurs on the side where the weight is located, i.e. the left side of the drawer. To absorb that drop and to create a nice appearance, we tried to leave 0.5 cm of clearance everywhere. Measuring for the front was still difficult in the bottom corner because of the point, but the end result looks quite sleek. We primed the fronts and painted them 9016. We bought the handles elsewhere and received the hinges from family.

Rectangle with beveled short side
( 166 ,3, 103.4) x 55.6 cm
